Hello deviants, this is my first time writing in one of these things so I will just go with the flow.
My name is Samuel Haruna (aka Sam Roon) I have been drawing for a few years now specialising in portraiture. Though I do specialise in portraiture and am fascinated with illustrating faces and people like Van gogh and Dali are heroes to me, i am heavily inspired by other art, conceptual, graffiti and manga etc and though it may not seem so from looking at my work, and you would be right to think that because it is more of an admiration of the skill these guys have with myself being unable to do what they do visual and composition wise.
In some of my pieces I have tried to foray into their worlds somewhat but never completely as my abilities are limited so I made one of my goals as an artist is to be able to step into the realm of another illustrative style at will, becoming more versatile in making that step from my imagination to reality become effortless but still with the replenishing feeling of creative conception you get after finnishing a piece.
I am happy to be a Deviant I have seen some extrordinary talent on here and I know i will continue to be inspired. I look forward to interacting with you guys more, please give feel free to give your thoughts on my work.
